My Brand Story

Welcome to NAKED SEWIST.

What began as curiosity eventually became something much bigger. I started sewing simply because I enjoyed it. At first, it was about learning a craft and seeing what I could make with my own hands. But the more I learned, the more I realized sewing was giving me something I hadn’t found elsewhere: the ability to create clothing with real intention.

Over time, that changed everything.

I moved from store-bought patterns to designing my own pieces, largely because I had to. At 6’6″, I know firsthand how limited menswear can feel when your body doesn’t fit the standard template. Too often, the options are narrow, repetitive, and built around the assumption that men should settle for whatever is available. If it fits at all, it’s treated like enough.

It isn’t enough.

For years, while building a career in corporate spaces, I saw the same problem from another angle. Menswear often asks men to choose between blending in or going too far. Between safe and theatrical. Between uniform and costume. There is very little in between for men who want to look refined, intentional, and distinct without feeling like they are performing.

That gap is where Naked Sewist lives.

This brand is built around the idea that menswear can have structure without feeling rigid. That clean lines do not have to mean boring. That fit matters. That silhouette matters. That details matter. And that men deserve more options than the usual rotation of blues, whites, grays, and whatever version of “elevated basics” the industry is recycling this season.

With each collection, my goal is to offer clothing that feels considered and expressive while still grounded in clarity and ease. I am drawn to strong silhouettes, thoughtful construction, texture, and color used with purpose. Not for noise. Not for trend. But to create pieces that feel modern, wearable, and alive.

Naked Sewist is for men who want to look put together without looking like everyone else.

2026 marks the beginning of that vision taking shape in a bigger way, and I’m excited for what’s ahead. Thank you for being here at the beginning, for your support, and for making room for a different kind of menswear.
